This act was enacted and took effect back in 2015 in the state of Texas. This act was passed and includes a provision that states that only a very explicit medical use qualifies for legal possession and usage of any marijuana product that contains low-levels if THC.

 

The law also says that the low-level of THC is set at not more than .5% of THC is acceptable. The last part of the law states that it can only be used as a treatment for intractable epilepsy and it must be prescribed by a doctor.
